Gold_E_Lox , in Extreme HiFi | Posy [8:11]

posy really came outta nowhere for me, hugely polished, highly produced material and only a handful of videos.

anyone know if he has a history in media?

I recall in one of his previous videos he talked about how he was/is a professional sound engineer, whereas his interest in photography and videos seems to have just been a personal hobby.

Pyro , in What convection ACTUALLY looks like | Steve Mould [11:49]

Steve Mould always has the best visual demonstrations of physics

cucumber_sandwich ,

And a voice that's smooth as butter.

bionicjoey , in Cooking Hot Dogs With THERMITE | The Thought Emporium [17:07]

Banger video (see what I did there?)

I particularly liked the part where they forgot to unseal the boiling chamber and it ended up turning the whole thing into a water jet propelled thermite missile

hglman , in Can You Really Catch A Jewel Thief Like This? | Dime Store Adventures [10:50]

Great video!

spoiler please

curled ,

It's cheddar cheese with some common, food safe chemicals that help suspend extra water in the cheese to make it melt easier and stringy-er. So it's basically cheese.

Gloria , in What is a Reich? And why were there three of them? | rewboss [7:36]

TLDR:

The First Reich: The Holy Roman Empire (800/962–1806 CE)

The Second Reich: The German Empire (1871–1918)

The Third Reich: Nazi Germany (1933–1945)

Very concise and informative.

Uberflussig , in Why the 270 Degree “Crossplane Twin” is Suddenly So Popular | FortNine [9:39]

Really interesting story, as usual for FortNine. I wonder what the real life impact of the difference between 270° and 285° actually is. Theoretically it affects performance and vibration, but is there actually a really notable difference on the road, especially for the big liter bikes?

After all, there's not many scenarios where you're actually pulling more than 80% of engine power on the road.

Cool video anyways, thanks for posting it!

sturlabragason , in Why the Panama Canal is Dying [And What the Alternatives Might be] | RealLifeLore (36:08)

This scares me that author Peter Zeihan might be even vaguely accurate about impending deglobalization😕

The title sounds doomy but the book is good: https://goodreads.com/book/show/58782897-the-end-of-the-world-is-just-the-beginning

infeeeee , in Will Lagos be the first city to 100 million? [11:13]

Betteridge's law of headlines is an adage that states: "Any headline that ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no."

Hope not. Must be a mess down there.

itsnicodegallo , in Lighting Then VS Now: Fire Before Electricity | Townsends [13:21]

I love this channel so damn much.

RagnarokOnline , in Lighting Then VS Now: Fire Before Electricity | Townsends [13:21]

Love Townsends!! Their channel is on my tv nonstop in Autumn

Bye , in This was supposed to fix the housing crisis… | About Here (10:21)

It isn’t happening because single houses are more profitable to build. People with money don’t want dupleces, and they are the ones buying in this market. So if you want to sell, you build luxury and you build single family.

HessiaNerd , in Why Society Hates Creative People (And What To Do About It) | Design Theory (26:23)

I couldn't really watch this. Talk about a self-indulgent pity party. "People only want convenience" okay guy do you or do you not have a Mac because it "just works?"

And don't give me the society, values, engineers and software developers more. How many articles do we have about software developers, working brutal hours and getting fired?
