Hezbollah won’t widen war but will fight if needed, deputy head says @lebanon

@Sherifazuhur @lebanon Why is forced displacement by Hezbollah somehow considered OK (about 100k Israelis have had to flee their homes because of Hezbollah attacks) yet moving Palestinians to the al-Mawasi humanitarian zone is considered to be “ethnic cleansing?”

Is it because one group is Arab and the other is Jewish?

@fuzzyDesk @lebanon this is supposed to be a serious question? Compare the Israelis’ and Gazans’ conditions. The Israelis have food, shelter, enough space per family, availability of medical treatment and freedom of movement. The Gazans do not. Al-Mawasi, a tiny area could not accommodate those ordered to flee there where they were shot at and bombarded. They lack food, medical aid and treatment, and cannot go stay with relatives in other areas as Israelis can.

@Sherifazuhur @lebanon Ok, you identified some differences. Which is the key difference to justify Hezbollah attacks which have displaced around 100k and killed civilians?

For example, maybe your claim is that it is ok to kill rich people and drive them from their homes.

Further, al-Mawasi has not been attacked. It could be that Israel has more credibility than you, seeing as how 1 million sheltering in Rafah chose to move there in 2 weeks.
