@kamikat@horror I WAS excited about Late Night with the Devil, but knowing they deliberately chose to use AI generated images for the interstitial/show artwork has now made me refuse to watch/review it, or give it any positive promotion. And I know a lot of people who feel the same.
It's too bad, it looks like it could be fun.
But yeah, I'll definitely be watching DRAG ME TO HELL again!! 🐐
The fact that it's such a small amount is infuriating in and of itself. If it was that insignificant, why use it at all? Someone in the art dept could have easily made the graphics. Instead they deliberately chose to use LLMs/AI.
And yes, the movie was made a couple yrs ago but artists were warning about the dangers of normalizing & using LLMs/AI then, too. They only exist from theft.
@KentuckyConjurer@kamikat@horror I read somewhere that all three were originally AI and they kept one as is and had an artist tweak the others. But I've seen differing accounts- I think that one was from the filmmakers, though.
