I just mistakenly made a comment on my post on lemmy.world and while it shows deleted on jerboa (up to date app) I can see it on eternity and attempts at deleting say delete failed (not up to date) but more importantly I can view the comment from my main too....
Currently supports any instance running a lemmy compatible api (lemmy, pangora, etc.)...
What if Meta's hidden objective behind the Threads-to-Mastodon initiative is a play on app.net? And, what if threads.net is a measured step towards what could be the greatest pivot in all of tech?
Recent progress in the world of event management systems and interoperation between the vast expanse of instances and platforms in the Fediverse looks really promising in the coming new year - so much has been accomplished!

Authorized Fetch (also referred to as Secure Mode in Mastodon) was recently circumvented by a stupidly easy solution: just sign your fetch requests with some other domain name.
