Andromxda OP , 1 month ago It uses the Kitty Graphics Protocol to display images. Emotes Use a terminal that fully supports the graphics protocol, such as kitty or WezTerm. Enable the emotes by setting twitch_emotes, betterttv_emotes and/or seventv_emotes to true. The emotes will be downloaded to ~/.cache/twt/ on Linux/MacOs and %appdata%\twt\cache\ on Windows. Kissaki , 1 month ago Is that limited to the kitty terminal? I don't see any compatibility notes on Kitty Graphics Protocol nor your TUI project - which given the TUI label I would expect to work on any terminal?

techwizrd , 1 month ago The kitty terminal graphics protocol is implemented by kitty, WezTerm, Konsole, and others I believe.

Andromxda OP , 1 month ago It does work in any terminal, but the emoji support is limited to terminals that implement this graphics API.
