@leapingwoman @bookstodon I was surprised to see My Year of Rest and Relaxation included. As far as funny goes, my go-to writers are David Sedaris and Jenny Lawson. Sedaris' "Me Talk Pretty One Day" is the funniest story I have ever read, like can't breathe laughing!

@kimlockhartga @bookstodon And Jenny Lawson, OMG, makes me laugh AND cry. Mostly laugh. I adore her books.

@leapingwoman @bookstodon Thanks so much for sharing this - more titles added to the TBR list! Glad to see Adrian Mole on there, he's ripe for a resurgence. I think people tend to think it's a kids book, but it's absolutely not. Sue Townsend was so sharp and funny.

@Funktious @bookstodon I agree. The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole is wonderful adult reading. And hilarious!

@ronsboy67 @bookstodon Ooh! Okay, Uncommon Reader is now on my TBR list. I love reading fiction about books and libraries.
