I haven't yet read Crescent City, so I don't have opinion for it. But other books, I don't know, maybe it's like bluecheese, you might love or hate it.
For me I also have noticed for last couple years, that I actually need something entertaining and comfy for balance everything in life.

My favourite trilogy so far has been A Court of Thorns and Roses / Mist and Fury / of Wings and Ruins.

But haven't enjoyed all her books. For example A Court of Silver Flames and Tower of Dawn were boring and irritating.

@stephanie @bookstodon Also I have to say, that I am not fan of all her characters. For Exemple one of important character in Throne of Glass serie is Rowan, and I think he is actually very toxic dick, thought he should be a such a hero.

@stephanie @bookstodon I ended up reading three on a beach holiday once - I’d run out of books and hers were all I could find. Each was worse than the previous one. Now I can’t even browse online bookstores because half the Fantasy space is given over to this dreck.
