ChrisMayLA6 , This week I've been manly reading, no. 166.
Kaliane Bradley's time-travel novel The Ministry of Time (2024) has all the expected twists & turns of a time travel narrative (from contingent history changing, to [redacted too not spoil plot], but handles them lightly & entertainingly. In the end it's more amusing than profound, but none the worse for that. While sort of SciFi, it (happily) sits in a position that seems between genres & perhaps that's its appeal.
