@shauna@skaeth@bookstodon I understand completely. I read almost all of Seth Harwood's books, mostly crime novels but not all. Then I hit one that was way too violent for me and I stopped and never went back. He's a good author and a good narrator, but hey, it's crime...
Loved Scott Sigler's Galactic Football League series (SF), and I think he's got a new one out now. Pretty violent, but made sense in the context. Tried to read other works of his -- SF horror. Couldn't.
