We've been (slowly) updating resources for Mapping Texts.
One thing we're excited about is the "Fixes" section of the website. When writing the book, we knew a code-forward book would run into issues (esp as dependencies are updated). So, we will post fixes as errors pop up.
We test the code quarterly, but anyone can submit issues through the site or email. We welcome general feedback as well.
Anyone who wants to play around with some well-known embedding models (like the HistWords COHA diachronic embeddings) can get up and running in R in a few minutes!
Each folder corresponds to a chapter, and each script corresponds (roughly) to a section.
We run diagnostics on the scripts periodically to catch any issues and update them accordingly. Updates are documented here: https://www.textmapping.com/fixes/
