Folks, remember when I tooted 2x that I won’t reply? I never do during live-posting but I’m also under the weather and barely made it through the closing statements.

I’m ok, spoke to dr, figuring out if this is a recurrence of intestinal thing that I had a few months ago. We’re on it. Meantime, if I perk up later, I’ll post again. Till then, thanks ahead of time for all the good wishes.

I so feel for Judge Kaplan in his probably uniquely challenging circumstances. I've been wracking my brain trying to remember the most obstreperous litigants I had in my two decades of adjudicating civil administrative law cases, which normally were tried in an hour or less, at most three sessions. I did receive a few threats over the years, including a veiled death threat from the owner of a clothing mill sweatshop (he wasn't prosecuted).
