    Sounds like a confidence issue. Why do you give a shit about other people? Like ---- at all.

    If I am designing something in CAD the whole world falls away and before I know it, its 10 hours later. Just like coding. I couldn't give a shit about anyone or anything during those moments. I am about to get into a new CAD design right now [and get the fuck off lemmy.] and will probably be at it all morning.

    Don't bother with teh MS apologists. They are the worst.

    If the operating system doesn't know the file and the type of file, it's a bad operating system.

    It should be trivial to have an OS determine the file type and display a warning if the extension doesn't match.

    Posix has had file for decades.
